The Project Background
Liquid Rubber Europe produces large quantities of liquid rubber on a weekly basis. This is filled into various packaging formats from 1kg to 20kg buckets. To handle this growing production, Liquid Rubber Europe needed an expansion of their production capacity. To achieve this, an accurate and reliable semi-automatic bucket/jerrycan filling line was delivered.
The Project Execution
Together with Liquid Rubber Europe, we examined what would be the best solution to further automate and increase production capacity. An important part of the production process is that the filling must be performed accurately and efficiently.
Due to the high viscosity of the product, extensive research was conducted to ensure that the product could be filled using our efficient and accurate dosing valve.
Ultimately, a proposal was shared with the customer. In this proposal, we demonstrated the expected production capacity and shared a 2D layout drawing showing the most efficient setup and the final dimensions of the filling line.
After approval, Van Rijn extensively tested the installation in their own factory to verify whether it could handle the conditions and intensive usage duration.
The final result
Rimboe Sauzen now has a machine line which significantly increases its production capacity. This way, they can keep up with the growing demand of peanut sauce and other sauces.

After a successful trial period, we further expanded the line with a semi-automatic lid pressing roller with roller conveyor, which has made the process even more efficient.
We experienced our contact with Van Rijn as very pleasant. We had good contact with the account manager and, where necessary, direct communication moments with the project manager at their office. This allowed questions to be answered quickly and adequately.
